How child & teen therapy works here
We begin with a caregiver consult to hear the full story and set goals together. For younger children, sessions use play, art, and movement to practice skills like emotional labeling, calming, and problem-solving. For teens, we blend conversation with coping tools tailored to everyday life (school, sports, friends, online life). Parents receive simple, realistic “home practices” and scripts to reduce conflict and build connection.
Parent collaboration—without blame
You know your child best. We offer clear plans and coaching that respect your family culture, with options for joint or separate check-ins. With permission, we can coordinate with pediatricians, psychiatrists, or schools.
School support & IEP/504 collaboration
When school is part of the challenge, we can provide letters and collaborate with counselors/teachers to support IEPs/504 plans. We keep communication strengths-based and specific.
